I like the weave on these bracelets very much. I ordered both colors. The leather, however, is stiff & rigid. They have that usual, Epic Armoury shine to them that a lot of their leather products have when you first take them out of the bag. But, it reminds me of the same grade of leather that they would use to make bracers. If you don’t like them that way, then these will require a little break-in period before they will feel comfortable. Every leather bracelet I’ve bought from Ren Fest vendors were always very soft & flexible right from the beginning. These are not. These bracelets hold their circular shape even when they are unlaced. The laces are very long but that’s fine because, if they weren’t, you would have to feed them back into the holes each time you take them on & off. You could tie knots at the end of the laces to prevent that or attach decorative beads or something bigger than the holes, too. If you didn’t like the laces at all or if they broke, you could easily replace them with something else as the lacing is very simple & straight forward. So, there is a little potential for customization. All in all, they are OK. They look cool & are certainly durable enough for Ren Fest or LARPing events. But, personally, I don’t think I would replace them if/when they wear out. I cannot comment on their long term performance, but will update this review at that time.
