Im new to LARP. In fact, I haven’t even found a program yet. This is my first LARP sword so I don’t have anything to compare it to. I don’t know anything about the manufacturing of these weapons but I can say this sword is rather hefty and the point of balance is closer to the center of the blade than it is to the handle. Speaking of, the handle is too small for two hands. That’s more my fault for not being able to distinguish that from a picture, however, the length of the handle in the listings would’ve been greatly appreciated. (That’s not necessarily this manufacturers fault, from what I’ve seen, nobody includes handle length) the handle itself is very comfortable to hold with one hand. But back to this being a one handed sword, considering most motions with a sword are carried with the elbow and wrist, you’d want the point of balance to be where any sword’s is, the handle. I haven’t tested the durability yet but the tip is very flexible, I bent it backwards both ways and it showed little to no signs of stress. I’ll be testing it later today on overall durability. With everything considered, I’m very pleased with the look and feel of the sword and can’t wait to hit my buddies in the face with it. The other things I mentioned are just suggestions. But like I said I don’t have a sword of higher quality (or lower quality) to compare this to. And I don’t know how these are manufactured so please excuse my ignorance if there is any.

This is a high quality LARP blade for the price point. It looks cool, wields well and sturdy. A great entry point if you want a fun toy, but don’t want to spend real $$.
