Ornately crafted to emulate the design of an early 15th century crossbow, the Large Castle Defense Crossbow makes for a beautiful piece of home decor. It is also able to be fired, allowing you to tangibly relate to the medieval era. The stock is detailed with floral patterns and crafted from hardwood in a straight design. The bow is made from durable steel with leather attached to its ends and connecting to the hemp bowstring. The stirrup, sight, and back sight are all crafted from burnished metal to improve its medieval appearance. This crossbow uses pull style mechanism, which is aided by the addition of the stirrup on the front to ease the cocking process. Included with this crossbow is a metal tipped wooden bolt, which allows for its immediate use. Although this is a functional weapon, it is not meant for hunting or target shooting. It is advised to exercise caution when used and not intended to fire at other beings. Display your passion for medieval weaponry with the Large Castle Defense Crossbow.

While the parts of this crossbow are functional, it is not intended to be fired. This crossbow is intended for decorative use.

Very nice looking, sturdy, and functional! It can even fire a pencil through cardboard. Overall, 10/10 for my first crossbow, it even comes with a steel tipped bolt. Love it

Not bad for a supposedly non-functioning crossbow. The mechanism works, just don’t expect it to pierce anything significant. No instructions were included, but I was able to figure out the assembly. The bow was a little loose, but I was able to gently hammer in the shim that held the prod that held the bow. Was I supposed to? Who knows because there were no instructions. It feels like a quality product, has a decent amount of heft. Still, probably a little smaller than a typical crossbow used for combat. Using it as part of my witchhunter costume.
