  2. Mark Hamel (verified owner)

These gauntlets are absolutely great! After taking measurements of my hand and making sure they were correct size for me, I am very pleased to say that they fit perfectly. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

  3. Gerald Stanley (verified owner)

I was skeptical at first? But upon receiving them, they fit perfectly. They are very sturdy, freedom of movement is great. I’ll be back to obtain more pieces!

These are absolutely stunning and easily the favorite of my kit. The glove and plates are assembled properly and give you great range of motion, though you will feel slight resistance from the glove and plates when making a fist. Plenty of room in the cuff so you can still wear it comfortably with thick padding and chainmail. This glove will make your hands much bigger. Take this into consideration for holding shields, weapons and drinking vessels. I keep these beauties on constantly except when I absolutely have to take them off for reaching into pockets or something that might dirty the glove. The gloves face plates might scratch each other a little and the scales on the fingers may require occasional straightening. Despite that you won’t regret this pair!

  5. Evan Hammerlund (verified owner)

These gauntlets are excellent. I have full dexterity to handle weapons and move my hands and wrists.

For being off-the-shelf, they are perfect!

I’m quite happy with my pair the one thing I would suggest is to get file or deburring tool the metal edge around the wrist is somewhat Sharp other than that quite like them

Good 16th century gauntlets. The reason I’m giving them four stars is because the measurements are wrong. It says the index finger length is 3 inches when it’s actually 4”. The pinky is about 3”. It also says the hand width is 4”, but it seems closer to 5”. From what I can tell, they are the same size as House of Warfares German gauntlets. The image showing the dimensions is accurate, so it would be best to look at that. Despite the very disappointing size, these are really nice gauntlets. All the leather is of good quality, and they are quite flexible! The palm strap is also well-placed. Overall, I am found of these. I hope Medieval Collectibles makes the sizes accurate, though. God bless, and all see you next time! Psalm 18:34
