Give your hands the defense they need in battle by wearing the Knightly Medieval Gauntlets. These articulated armour gauntlets are made of 16 gauge steel, with its plates layered on top of the fingers of a brown leather glove base. The reverse side of the gauntlet does not have steel covering, which allows for better dexterity. Polished steel plates then cover the knuckles, hand, and up past the wrist, ending in a pointed, flared cuff. These historical gauntlets are the perfect pieces for adding to a knights look or for putting together any kind of warrior outfit for reenactment, Renaissance fairs, and more.

I was skeptical at first? But upon receiving them, they fit perfectly. They are very sturdy, freedom of movement is great. I’ll be back to obtain more pieces!

These are absolutely stunning and easily the favorite of my kit. The glove and plates are assembled properly and give you great range of motion, though you will feel slight resistance from the glove and plates when making a fist. Plenty of room in the cuff so you can still wear it comfortably with thick padding and chainmail. This glove will make your hands much bigger. Take this into consideration for holding shields, weapons and drinking vessels. I keep these beauties on constantly except when I absolutely have to take them off for reaching into pockets or something that might dirty the glove. The gloves face plates might scratch each other a little and the scales on the fingers may require occasional straightening. Despite that you won’t regret this pair!
