The word Waza means skill or technique in Japanese. The large blade is made of 15 layers of Damascus steel and features a blood groove and black hilt. The knife also includes a Japanese traditional-style wooden scabbard sheath with leather belt loop. Blue Steel is called Aogami in Japan and is made by adding chromium and tungsten to white steel making it more durable with greater edge retention.
