Description

In Greek mythology, during the trials of Heracles, the lake of Lerna was home to an unkillable monster known as the Hydra. For every head cut from its body, two more would grow there. The Hydra Necklace depicts this monstrosity. Situated on a double black, braided cord necklace, the antiqued and polished pewter hydra of this necklace appears to be three serpents fused together at the middle. Their three heads hang over the front of the necklace, each one facing their red Swarovski crystal eyes in different directions. Their tails hand over the back of the necklace, fusing to the necks to create a loop through which the cord is threaded. The cord is capped with pewter ends that connect via a lobster claw fastener and adjustable chain. An elegant piece of jewelry, this Gothic necklace can be worn casually or with formal attire, making it an excellent addition to any wardrobe or gift for a loved one.
