The Honshu D2 Kukri provides a contemporary update to a historical knife style that is often used for combat and outdoor tasks. Made from T10 high-carbon steel, this functional knife has the distinctively curved blade of a kukri. It curves inward with a bent spine. A fuller runs down the central half of the blade. Near the base of the blade, there is a recessed section with four circular cutouts. The Honshu name sits on the blade below the cutouts.
Next, the knife has a flat, straight crossguard. It extends on the edge side of the knife. The hilt continues with a thermo-plastic rubber handle. There are a couple of concave curves that help make the slightly curved handle easier to grasp. At the end of the black handle, there is a hole for a lanyard, not included. Finally, this knife comes with a black leather sheath. The sheath secures the knife in place with two straps with snaps. It also has a cord lanyard at the end. The sheath allows the kukri to hang from a belt, not included. You can use this kukri knife in the wilderness or display it your home for all to see.
