Made from 1045 carbon steel, the blade features the traditional curved shape found on many Japanese swords. A fuller runs down the length of the blade. The blade enters the handle at a silver-colored tsuba.

Then, the sword has a brass blade collar and a flat hilt collar, flush with the handle. There are three golden tomoe designs adorning one side of the fuchi. Next, the sword features a white, wrapped handle with gold-colored accents. Real ray skin wraps around the handle. At the end, the flush pommel features another golden tomoe design.

Finally, the sword also comes with a black scabbard, also called a saya. Please note that the saya features a small scuff on it surface. The katana also fits very snugly in this saya, ensuring it will stay put when you need it.

This samurai sword also includes a sword bag and a certificate of authenticity. In addition, the katana includes a hidden knife as well. The knife has a detailed black handle.
