This is an excellent set of cutlery. I bought two sets about six months ago and use them regular for everyday meals. One thing I will say is that the fork is quite small compared to a modern dinner fork, so it takes some getting used too. Also, the two prong design makes using the fork for something like rice a bit difficult without help from the knife or spoon. That said, it works quite well for meals with chunks and hunks of food. The knife cuts smoothly with minimal effort and the little curl on the handle of the fork and spoon prevent them from falling down into your food if you are eating from a bowl. The leather wrapping helps preserve the finish well.

If you’re planning on going to a medieval feast, this set is essential! They look amazing and are very high quality. I haven’t had a chance to take them out in the wild yet, so to speak, but I anticipate looks of jealousy and awe. The pouch they come in is very roomy, so I like to tuck in some vials of salt and pepper and other seasonings to carry around with me.
