Viking warriors such as yourself know to bring a proper blade with you into battle. You wield the Gotland Viking Sword against the enemy. Made from 1065 high carbon steel, this functional sword has a double-edged blade. A wide fuller runs down the length of the blade.
Next, the full tang sword has a flat, oval crossguard. The crossguard has a triple layer design. The center layer is wood while the outer layers are copper. Grooves adorn the sides of the copper layers. The hilt continues with a wooden grip. On each end of the grip and in the center, there is a copper band. A knotwork pattern adorns the band. The hilt ends with a unique pommel. The pommel has a base like the crossguard. Rivets secure the pommel as well as the crossguard together. On the end of the peened pommel, it has a lobed design. An ornate, engraved pattern adorns the center lobe. Finally, this sword comes with a brown leather scabbard. The scabbard has a baldric belt and a brass chafe. You can take this sword to a historical reenactment or easily add it to any sword collection.
