Godfrey Shirt

(3 customer reviews)

The Godfrey Shirt is a loose, roguish garment made from light cotton and designed for both comfort and style. Available in black or off-white, the period shirt falls just over the hip and is fitted with a subtle collar along the V-neckline. The long sleeves are designed to showcase a full, billowy look, befitting a wide range of social classes and careers from the late Middle Ages through the Renaissance. Tighten the cotton cord at the wrists to keep the fabric out of the way, made to easily fit inside a pair of gloves or gauntlets. The classic style looks striking with a great variety of character types. Match with other medieval clothes to create your personalized historical outfit.

The shirt I got was good quality and fit well. The off-white color was great for my brown tunic as well. However the shirt I got looks more like the Odin shirt on the site. The collar doesn’t actually come down like a wide V but comes around the neck more before coming down into a narrower V. This allows the tips of collar to fold over a bit. I’m not disappointed though. I actually think it looks better that way. Overall, very satisfied with my order. Well done.

Nice quality, good fit, especially around the arms. I like the feel of the fabric, too. Great product!

I got this shirt in white to go with Medieval Landsknecht Pants(black/red), and they do look good together. Black may even go better with the pants, I’ll have to see one day. The shirt fits well and is comfortable. I can use this outfit in two ways. One, just as a casual Ren Fair visitor, or I can wear it with my Morion Comb helmet and steel curiiass like the Conquistador. Steel bracers and greaves go well with it also. As with all the clothing I’ve gotten so far from Medieval Collectibles I am very pleased!
