The Generals Lee and Jackson Collectors Dark Wood Display Plaque depicts a pistol that would have been worthy of either general. As it stands, though, it also makes for a fantastic looking display piece, especially when paired with its wooden plaque. The first thing to catch your eye on this plaque is assuredly going to be the pistol, as it features a rich and luxurious look that is difficult to ignore. The pistol is a replica of the 1851 Navy Cap and Ball Revolver, one that features a rich silver and gold finish, as well as comfortable yet simple wood grips. The plaque itself is crafted from attractive hardwood that possesses a rich, dark-hued coloration, as well as a pair of simple yet fitting bullet hangers (which hold the pistol up). Under where the pistol sets is a black and white print of The Last Meeting, between General Robert E. Lee and General Thomas Stonewall Jackson at Chancellorsville, VA, on the night of May 1, 1863. Unfortunately, Jackson was accidentally shot by one of his own troops the next day, and died 8 days later. Also featured on this plaque is a brass identification plate, which names the pistol, as well as a traditional Confederate States of American hat pin, which would have been favored by Confederate troops of all sorts. This plaque measures approximately 18 inches long and 7 inches tall. Take into account of the history that his plaque tells about, as well as its beautiful appearance, and it is easy to see how this Generals Lee and Jackson Collectors Dark Wood Display Plaque would be a great display piece, as well as a great gift to give to those who might idolize either of the two generals this plaque is dedicated to.
