I ordered this looking for something lightweight and breathable for the heat of Ren Faires. This tunic has a very authentic look and feel, however I did have some issues. I ordered my size (large) and found that it was extremely tight in the chest and arms, the fabric is also very loosely woven and came apart at the back seam immediately. Medieval Collectibles was very helpful though and gave me a full refund. If you order this make sure to order a size up, I also thought the fabric was a bit uncomfortable because of just how rough the weave is, but it does add to the look.

Nice lightweight tunic. Neck opening is a bit on the large side, but other than that, it is pretty much exactly what is described and pictured. Size chart seems accurate to me.

Excellent garment! I bought the XL Moss Green tunic & love it. The pictures are good, but the color looks way better in person. It’s a little darker than what you see in the picture & is a nice option to have beyond Brown & Cream. It draws attention without being too flashy. It’s made from the same breathable linen/cotton blended material that Mytholon uses for an authentic look. It seems rough, at first, but will soften up with use & proper washings. I own several items made of this material & have no complaints. The only thing that may seem itchy is the tag on the back of the neck. I took the advice of the previous reviewer & ordered an XL. I should wear a Large based on my measurements, but wanted a little extra room for mobility, comfort, & a little insurance in case it gets thrown in the dryer by accident. Previous experience with this material in Size Large has also taught me that it doesn’t stretch like a present-day T-shirt will. The XL fit just right for me & didn’t look too big. It was relatively easy to put on & take off. The opening at the neck seemed to be the right size, too. It looks great by itself with a belt or used in a layered combination. The Customer Service at Medieval Collectibles handled all my questions about this item with speed, professionalism, & good information. A pleasant experience all around.

This is a beautiful tunic (copper). My only complaint is that it’s made for people with long torsos and little shape. Not really a complaint about the tunic, more a complaint about my petite, short-waisted self, I suppose! Wear it bloused with a belt. 🙂
