I recently got fed up with having to open my bills and other miscellaneous mail with either my fingers or a pen, I didn’t want to just tear the envelopes anymore so I decided to buy this letter opener, and two others (the Perched Silver Dragon letter opener as a gift, and the Fantasy Sword letter opener on impulse). But I am sad to say that I will have to keep tearing envelopes because none of all three are sharp enough to cut anything and the edge of this one is puckered, but I’m not sure if it’s all of them or just the one that I received.
However, they all arrived within a week of ordering and all were together, packaged completely safe from damage.
All in all the design is impeccable and I can’t stop looking at them, they are absolutely great for decoration and top-notch quality. They are the perfect weight; light, but not so that it feels fake or as if it could break easily, and heavy enough to feel useful, and a little dangerous, in the hand. Beautiful, and the scabbard is high-quality and fits snuggly over the opener. I really do love this product and will never use anything else to open my mail again.
