European Boar Spear Head

This spearhead features a leaf-shaped blade with a central ridge that becomes a conical socket at the bottom. Just below the blackened blade, there is a pair of short quillons with sphere tips. On a historical spear, these protrusions were important for hunting as they help to stop the spear head from entering too far into the target.
