Whether you are a musketeer, pirate, or adventurer, there is always a need for a fantastic hat to wear. Check out the dashing Embossed Corsair Hat. Made from gorgeous leather, this hat comes in two colors and three sizes. The hat brim folds up towards the crown. Brass-toned rivets secure the folded brim to the crown of the hat. The side of the hat brim that is raised will vary, right or left. It is shown here pinned to the right side. Elegant floral embossing decorates the crown as well as the underside of the folded brim. Meanwhile, the topside of the brim is smooth.
A smooth leather band wraps around the base of the crown. It ties in back. This Embossed Corsair Hat looks fabulous at a Renaissance faire, LARP event, or cosplay convention.

Care Instructions:
- Remove dirt with a hard brush, then gently clean with leather soap and a soft, damp cloth. Remove soap with a separate damp cloth, then use a dry cloth to wipe away remaining water. Let dry naturally. Condition with oil or polish, then wipe with a final cloth to remove excess residue.

The hat is well made. the embossing is nice. The only thing is the top of the brim is not what is shown. The picture shows a dark rough surface, but the hat which I bought for my wife has a grey color and does not really match the black of the hat. I resolved this issue with some black shoe polish. Now it at least matches the rest of the hat. Also the sizing was right on.

One more thing the picture shows embossing on the upper side of the brim which is not there, only smooth grey leather.

I bought a second hat for myself, the first was for my wife, so we could have matching hats for our pirate outfits. my wifes hat is folded on the right, mine is folded on the left. Consistency is bad.

Exquisite quality, absolutely beautiful hat. Got lots of compliments at ren faire. NOTE: Yes the upper brim is smooth, gray leather, but you’re supposed to treat the leather as per the instructions; a little black shoe polish seals that unfinished gray leather and it matches beautifully with the rest of the hat. My only complaint is that the buttons on the brim are rivets that can’t be unbuttoned, but this is a very small complaint.
