Mine came with the paint a little faded and not very “pristine” looking but… I kinda prefer it that way, it makes it looke a bit more authentic. It says it is made of solid wood, but the shield has a sort of foam lining on the outside of the wood so it feels a bit squishy. However, the quality feels top notch and it is an excellent display piece and piece that can be carried around with you all day and isn’t super heavy. It really feels like I can abuse this thing and it will hold up. A good purchase I would say for sure.
