From a ranger in the forest to a knight on the battlefield, the Classic Medieval Sword suits a variety of medieval warriors. Made from 1065 high-carbon steel, this functional arming sword features a full-tang, double-edged blade. A long and wide fuller runs down the length of the blade, lightening it for fast and shearing cuts.
Next, the Type X sword continues with a curved crossguard in a Oakeshott Type VII style. It curves towards the blade, protecting the wielders hand from attack. The hilt has a wooden grip. Black leather covers the grip. Then, the hilt ends with a Type I, wheel-shaped pommel, balancing the sword.
Finally, the medieval knight sword comes with a black scabbard. It has a metal chape and throat. The throat features a hanging pin. This sword is ideal for medieval reenactments with its historical design. You can also easily add it to a weaponry collection.

I found one of these in a magazine at 11 years old and it was THEE sword in my eyes from that time on. This was in 2005 mind you. When I happened across it again on here I couldn’t believe it-same sword being made by Windlass Steelcrafts. Just had to buy it! It’s awesome in the hand. The temper is flawless and it bends nicely over 12 inches out of line and returns to true. It has a few small earmarks of a hand made blade that add to my liking. All in all a classic to have and WELL worth the price.

I have been wanting to collect this sword for years but never got around to it. I am still in love with this sword after many years and am proud to finially get it, the blade is in much better quality condition than i thought it would be for being hand forged and polished, very straight, very clean and symmetrical. Scabbard is in high standard too and fits snuggly. all the metal parts came oiled and wrapped in plastic and was shipped very well protected in air bag belt thingies. Thanks Medieval Collectables!

Bought a couple of these for friends that are new to costuming. They are great “generic” swords that blend well with almost any medieval/fantasy attire. As always, Windlass Steel Crafts quality is superb. Well balanced, quality steel and attractive look.
