The Bullseye Tomahawk Axe is perfect for practicing your throwing skills. This lightweight throwing axe has a hand forged, carbon steel head with a sleek black finish with silver edges. The back of the axe head has a point for versatile usage. The axe head is attached to a wooden handle. Historically, the throwing axe could be used as a weapon in two ways. As a hand held weapon, it was a lethal force, capable of cleaving helms, mail, and shields, while a volley of thrown axes could disrupt an opposing force and allow a breakthrough in a shield wall. Our Bullseye Tomahawk Axe is great for backyard recreation and is enjoyed by outdoorsmen in tomahawk throwing competitions all over the United States.

Okay before I start-understand what you are paying and what you’re buying… I bought two of these, knowing full well that they are plasma cut 8th inch steel welded onto essentially a 1 inch ring. They are not five star craftsmanship, so if you aren’t aware of that by the price, consider yourself informed. Now granted, they still do all that I want them to do, but to get them to that point, plan on putting on a new handle. The handle that comes with is the crappiest wood I think I’ve ever encountered in my life… It’s also quite glued in. That stuff will break on the first throw. Drill or drill out the socket and put in some 7/8” inch dowel. Sand it, take a match or a blow torch and put a cool little twist on it, then stain it. Tadaaa! If you get the handle length right they balance nicely and throw very well. Good for a little backyard practice and once cleaned up they look pretty nice too! …for $15 bucks!
