This Fleur De Lis Shield is a red and blue shield with black borders. The shield features fleur de lis symbols, which stands for the Holy Trinity - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In the Medieval times, a knight's shield had various forms and shapes. It could be round, square, or the kite shaped and was used to defend the knight from attack. They could be made of metal for strong protection, but during the 14th and 15th centuries they were usually made of wood for easy carrying.
