This Childs Breastplate is made of hand forged 16 gauge, low carbon steel. This metallurgical composition provides excellent resilience and durability. The straps are made of sturdy leather. The buckles are 18 gauge steel and adjustable for a comfortable fit. The entire strap is riveted to the plate metal of the breastplate. This is a solid piece of armour that won't come apart while you're wearing it. Due to the handmade nature of this item, no two examples are exactly alike.
