This Plain Cuirass is made of hand forged 16 gauge, low carbon steel. This metallurgical composition provides excellent resilience and durability. The straps are made of sturdy leather. The buckles are 18 gauge steel and adjustable for a comfortable fit. The entire strap is riveted to the plate metal of the cuirass. This is a solid piece of armor that won't come apart while you're wearing it. Due to the handmade nature of this item, no two examples are exactly alike. The Plain Cuirasses is truly a unique, collectible piece. The Plain Cuirasses is approximately 18 inches from the neck to bottom and will fit up to a 38 inch waist. This item is shipped to you pre-oiled for protection.
