The Golden Knight Helmet is from around the 16th century. This beautiful museum quality, late 16th century replica is full sized and ready to wear. Typical for close helmet design, the Royal Guard Close Helm has an artistic visor that pivots open from bolts on each side of the skull. This helm also includes a fanciful bevor, which consists of the plate armor protecting the chin and lower face, including the gorget. The Golden Knight Helmet is hand made of high carbon steel and fully wearable.
