This Viking styled shield features a classic Cross design. The Wooden Viking Cross Shield is made out of a .5 inch thick smooth composite wood, which is considerably stronger and more durable than plywood. It also has an aluminum disc bolted in the center for greater protection. This aluminum disc is quite strong and should hold up well against the rigors of combat. Dual leather straps are used to comfortably secure the arm along the back; one going over the forearm and one strap intended to be gripped or held.
