Our hand painted wooden shield featuring a unique Greek Helmet design inspired by actual ancient Greek artwork that decorated shields and pottery. The Helmet design has been painted in deep blue colors over an airbrushed white and yellow background. Dual leather straps are used to secure the arm along the back. The Trojan Shield is made out of a .5 inch thick smooth composite wood which is considerably stronger than plywood. The front of the shield has also been applied with several coats of topcoat varnish to protect it from wear.
