The pants are decent overall, loose fitting, but aren't too baggy. their good if you want plenty of mobility while moving, want to place them inside your boot, or if you just frankly don't like the tight pants look (such as at a LARP). My only issue, you just have to be careful with the pants legs near the draw string, if you get them stuck under anything with some weight on it (a chair leg, your foot, etc etc) it can be very easy to rip. That, and I do highly suggest wearing a pair of comfortable shorts underneath (don't worry, there's plenty of room), since the material is a little thin. Otherwise, I've worn these twice, both to full contact LARP events, including one in some rocky mountainous terrain, and through some thorny brush, and they've held up fine.
