Our Heavy Draw Weight English Warbows are for the BIG BOYS! The draw weights on these bows start at 70 pounds and go up to 130 pounds, These are made for the guys who really want some serious punch in their bows. These are a full 76" in length to accomidate 32" and 33" draw lengths. Will shoot Heavy weighted arrows and cause some serious damage, make sure the arrows you are using are for the correct poundage. Ever wonder about hunitng with a bow like this? Heavy monster arrows sink in deep and can penetrate the armor plating on the shoulder of a large size Boar. Thicker and beefier than their victorian style English longbow cousins. These bows do meet the requirements of the 8-5 thickness to width ratio's set forth by the English Longbow society. These are modelled after the monster English longbows used in the days of old in Europe and England to conduct warfare and have the same hard punch today as they ever did back then. Made from solid durable bamboo backed hickory. Extra grooves are cut at each end of each tip to accomidate a loop style bow stringer. Stringing instructions come with each order. A bowyers mark is placed on the side of the bow to show where the arrow should come off of the bow. This Warbow does not have a arrow rest, it is a shoot off the hand style bow and can be shot either right or left handed.

This bow is great for target practice, SCA events, Hunting and Archery competitions, certain events and hunting laws may require specific draw lenghts and draw weights, if you are purchasing the bow solely for that purpose, be sure to check what the requirements are first.

We offer a 1 year warranty on this bow in case of any defects. If this bow breaks or does not function properly as a result of manufacturing defects we will replace it. Bows will not be replaced if they have been abused. These cases are handled on a case by case basis. Remember to always unstring your bow when you are not using it and never fire the bow with out an arrow.
