Our Solid Hickory Traditional English longbows are tougher than ash wood and come in draw wieghts up to 40-45 pounds. Authentic styling is perfect for period re-enactments or for English longbow organizations and traditional archery events. The bow is 72" long for a smooth draw and forgiving accuracy of a true longbow. 1" wide in the handle area and a fully rounded English belly makes this bow a perfect match for most English Longbow society and shooting club rules and requirements for English Longbows. Comes in draw weights up 40-45 pounds at 31" maximum and below. Our Solid Hickory Traditional English longbow does not have an arrow rest, but is a shoot off the hand style bow. The bow is permanently finished and requires no maintenance, other than regular care and proper storage. This bow is great for target practice, SCA events, Hunting and Archery competitions, certain events and hunting laws may require specific draw lenghts and draw weights, if you are purchasing the bow solely for that purpose, be sure to check what the requirements are first.

We offer a 90 day warranty on this bow in case of any defects. If this bow breaks or does not function properly as a result of manufacturing defects we will replace it. Bows will not be replaced if they have been abused. These cases are handled on a case by case basis. Remember to always unstring your bow when you are not using it and never fire the bow with out an arrow.
