Geoffrey II, Duke of Brittany and Earl of Richmond (1158 – 1186) was Duke of Brittany between 1181 and 1186, through his marriage with the heiress Constance. Geoffrey was the fourth son of King Henry II of England and Duchess Eleanor of Aquitaine. Was killed in a Paris Jousting Tournament. From the era of romance, comes this replica of a historical figure, Geoffrey Count of Brittany, riding off to war. The king’s ardent supporter is well-equipped in an elaborate suit of armor, his sword upraised, and his charger leaping over the fallen shields and flags on the battlefield. This statue is wonderful detail in every inch of this fascinating gift for the collector of English period characters. The Geoffrey Count Of Brittany Statue is made of cold cast resin.
