Footwear has been important all throughout history. In the middle ages shoes represented both fashion and necessity. Everyone needed to protect their feet, just like today. Modern re-enactors who find that their outfit is missing something may well be missing the perfect shoes to complement the ensemble. Our shoes are faithful to their medieval counterparts, but represent no one singular style, allowing them to be worn with a variety of outfits. Just pick the style you like and your size and you will be ready for any re-enactment or ren-faire.
