Templar Tunic: King Baldwin II, the King of Jerusalem, installed the Order in a part of the Palace of Jerusalem believed to be Solomon’s Temple, from which they took the name of Knights of the Temple or Templars. The order’s battle honors in the defense of the Holy Land are now legendary, while the accounts of their missing accumulated wealth are still a mystery. This heavy cotton sleeveless tunic has been dyed a bright white. The Order's Maltese styled red cross has been appliqued over the heart, while a full linen lining has been sewn on the interior. Dry clean only.

Templar Cape: This long cape is one of the heaviest and most elegant we have ever offered. It matches our Templar Tunic. The stark white color is offset with a large red cross on the left side, while the interior boasts a matching red lining. Heavy cotton with corded tie. One size. Dry clean only.

Mens Pants: Drawstring waist pants. fits 28" - 50". Made from 100% cotton which makes these pants very comfortable. A very breathable material, so they are even good in summer! Wear them loose, wrap the legs with cord or stuff them in your boots, these pants go with most period outfits. Whether you are a Peasant, Pirate or Knight, these pants should be a basic staple in your Medieval wardrobe.

2" Wide Medieval Belt: This colorful long belt can be used for both your tunic and your sword. The wide 2" belt will accomodate most frogs and give your tunic a fitted look. Made of heavy grade leather, this red belt is extra long at 70" and finished with antiqued brass Maltese crosses. Your choice of Red or Blue.

Crusader Helmet (Optional): Developed early in the 12th Century, the Great Helm became the mainstay of the medieval fighting man and lasted for about 300 years. Worn over a mail coif and padding, this helm has menacing narrow eyeslits for maximum protection. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts® from 18 gauge steel.

Hero's Mail Coif (Optional): The smaller and finer the rings, the better the protection. We are proud to offer the peak of the armorer's art (and patience) as it pertains to mail. Butted, 17 guage steel rings are only 3/16" round offering unsurpassed protection. Incredibly dense, the rings provide ultimate defense against what may come your way. All warriors of the period prized this type of mail - it was purchased by the few who could afford it and presented to the hero that earned it. We recommend keeping this mail oiled at all times.

Chainmail Gauntlets (Optional): To protect the back of the hand, we have added mail on our black leather gauntlets and also placed slightly cupped steel lames all around the cuff. These gauntlets offer good protection to the hand, wrist and lower arm from a sword slash or draw cut. There's a pair much like these at the Art Institute of Chicago that are highly decorative, however we have left ours plain to keep the price down and to allow them to be historically correct from the Early Middle Ages well into the Renaissance. Infantry Leather Boots(Optional): Medieval Infantry Boot This tough, heavy leather boot is a great shoe for almost every medieval outfit. The boot has wooden toggles, which slide and can be tied for a truly secure fit. The soles are leather with a thin rubber heel for good traction. Whole sizes 7-13. Brown only.
