Made of durable suede, they lace-up the front allowing for a custom fit. The boots have a hard sole for all-day support for your wooded excursions. These boots are quite comfortable once they're wore in a bit. The leather soles have held up surprisingly well even in rain, mud, lakes, and on asphalt; the rubber heels on the soles didn't hold up however. Also the lacing that these come with began to tear apart in just a few days, but the laces are simple enough to replace. Overall, a good product for the price.
