The Knights of Templar is a group of nine men who dedicated their services to the king and to God, to protect sojourners during their pilgrimages to and from the sacred land. The Knights Templar formed near the end of the First Crusade, around 1112. These Knights were very poor and only lived in poverty. As they became more powerful knightly order, they became extremely wealthy individuals. Then around the 14th century, the French monarchy drove the Knights of Templar out of existence. The Templar sword has a blade style of its Viking ancestors. The edges of the Templar blade run parallel for most of the blade length, until finally tapering to a round point. The Templar sword penetrate leather and Chainmail armour because of the shape of the blade. Many blade collectors possess the Templar sword because of its holy statue from the Middle Ages.
