Functional Armor

Medieval Collectibles has a large variety of fully functional battle ready steel armor. We have many pieces of functional steel armor such as body armor, leg armor, arm armor, and full suits of armor. Functional body armor pieces include functional breastplates, backplates, cuirasses and harnesses. In functional leg armor we have everything from greaves to thigh armor. Arm armor includes functional arm bracers, pauldrons, gauntlets and spaulders. Many pieces of our functional steel armor are custom made to your measurements and you can select what type of steel, gauge of steel or thickness and color. Our functional steel armor is used by SCA groups, medieval fairs, movies, LARP events, and reenactments. We add new functional armor pieces monthly so always check back with us for the most current pieces of steel armor from around the world.

Body Armor Sets

These wearable body armor and helmet sets are great display pieces when they are not being used. These body armor sets included the body armor, helmet and display stand. This package of functional armor and helmet sets will also save you some money. Each functional armor set is made of stainless steel and would be a great addition to your home decor too.

Full Arm Armor

Medieval Collectibles has Medieval, Gothic and Fantasy styled Full Arm Amor. All functional full arm armor is sold as a pair. All our full arm armor is fully functional and can be made in different gauges of steel.  We are sure that our functional arm armor will provide you with the protection you need during that medieval re-enactment. Full Leg Armor

We have Medieval, Gothic and Fantasy styled functional full leg amor. All functional full leg armour is sold as a pair. Leg armor in this category is designed to protect the full leg from the thigh to top of the foot. Some types of leg armor comes in different types of steel and gauge of steel. Functional Arm Bracers

Medieval Collectibles has a huge selection of steel arm bracers. We have Gothic, Elven and Traditional styled steel arm bracers. Our functional arm bracers will protect your fore arms during that live steel sword fighting. Our steel arm bracers are sure to complete your full armour outfit. Functional Backplates

Functional Breastplates

Functional breastplates are great for the confident fighter or to wear over chainmail. We have a good selection of functional steel breastplates. Our steel breastplates com in different styles and prices. If you prefer to have a breast and back plate, check out our Functional Cuirasses below, where many of these styles are available with a back plate. Functional Cuirasses

All of our functional Cuirasses and Harnesses come with a breastplate and backplate. Our functional cuirasses and harnesses come in many different styles. Many cuirasses and harnesses we have, you can choose which type of steel you would like it made from. Items that ask for your specific measurements are a custom order. Functional Gauntlets

These wearable functional gauntlets are the perfect addition and some times a necessity for any Knight's armour. Functional gauntlets are designed to protect the lower part of the arm, hands and fingers of the sword fighter. All our gauntlets here are fully functional. We have a variety of options that you can choose from to design your gauntlets. You can choose the size, color, steel and gauge thickness of your functional gauntlets.

Functional Gorgets

Medieval Collectibles has steel gorgets and bevors that will protect your neck and your shoulders while in battle. Our functional neck armor can be worn with your steel armour or over a leather breast plate. All our steel gorgets are fully functional and are adjustable for a comfortable fit. Most functional neck armor is made of 16 gauge steel and are suitable for SCA and LARP use. We have gorgets that come in steel or blackened steel. Medieval Collectibles has many gorgets pieces to choose from and more to come in the future.

Functional Greaves

We have a huge selection of functional steel greaves. We have Gothic greaves, Roman greaves and Traditional styled steel greaves. We even have movie inspired Gladiator greaves and Elven greaves from Lord of the Rings. Functional greaves are designed to protect the lower part of the leg. Some of our greaves come in different types of steel and gauge size.

Functional Lorica Segmentas

One of the most popular styles of armor is the Roman Lorica Segmenta. We have a few variations for you, all crafted of steel and fully wearable. While you're not wearing your Lorica Segmenta, keep it on display, it's truly a unique conversation starter. The Roman lorica segmenta  is believed to have been introduced in the ranks of the Roman Army during the first century A.D. and widely used at the height of the Roman Empire. Although it never completely replaced the mail and scale armor, for the modern mind the Lorica Segmentata typifies the Roman soldier.

Functional Pauldrons

Medieval Collectibles has functional Pauldrons and Spaulders are perfect for use in the SCA or for LARP. Some functional spaulders and pauldrons give you the option to be made from 14 gauge steel, so you can use them for Live Blade fighting as well. We have Elven, Gothic and Knightly pauldrons and spaulders. Some of our steel pauldrons and spaulders come in different types of steel finishes and gauges. Our functional pauldrons and spaulders will protect the shoulder and upper arm.

Functional Sabatons

A sabaton is part of knight's armor that protects and covers the foot. Sabatons typically end in a tapered point but have been seen rounded. The sabaton usually goes past the wear's foot. The feet can be one of the most exposed parts of a warrior, and if compromised, the warrior’s mobility is destroyed. Our sabatons are made specifically from medieval documents and records. The Sabatons that we carry are made of 16 gauge steel to provide the upmost protection from that sword or weapon blow to the foot. Our sabatons are fully functional and articulated Sabatons will complete your steel armor wardrobe.

Functional Thigh Armor

Medieval Collectibles has functional thigh armor that is perfect for use in the SCA reenactments or for LARP events. Our thigh armor is made of 16 gauge steel and is fully functional. Functional thigh armor is designed to protect the upper part of the leg during that sword blow during sword fighting or training. Suits of Armor

Suit up! Get ready for battle in one of our finely crafted full suits of armor. All functional full suits of armour are re-enactment safe. With a great price range, a full suit of armor can fit into anyone's budget. These functional full suits of armour are made of high quality steel and some of the custom made ones are made to your measurements. We have many different styles of functional armour, such as Tournament Armor, Knights Armor, Gothic Armor, Battle Armor and also full suits of Samurai Armor. When your are not wearing your armor put it on display in your home, all of our full suits of armor come with a display stand.
